After shortlisting 3 companies and checking with several references I went with Nic & Wes to re construct a one story bungalow into a part two story with a home concept of inside/outside living. The final result was excellent and I am was very pleased with the Nic & Wes team from start to finish. Always polite, good integrity, accepted changes from plan during building and in my opinion run a very good company with the very top service levels. Due to my time constraints at my own work and knowing I would not have that much time to overlook everything I liked the one stop shop concept to assist with design, architects, builders etc… I also had the comfort level that all various skills sets will be working with each other and I just wanted a few contact people during the years project. My closest contact was with Brian, Roy, Jeffrey, Eileen and Somu all of which were very professional and very pleasant to deal with. If you have the chance to select the hands on Site Engineer I would thoroughly recommend ‘Somu’. Though I have heard the others are just as good. Somu was very professional is laying out what can and cannot be done, with no short cuts both wanting to please the client and advising the client what was not recommended for a long term basis. He had great control on the site and the entire team of workers which should not be taken for granted in any industry (i.e builders, painters, tilers, wood expert, Electrical, Swimming pool/Garden/ Pond company etc..) and many others whose names I cannot recall. As with any new building and once moving in I have found a few minor workman faults, As expected with Brian and his team without hesitation corrected then and continue to share their expertise and experience in any questions I have.

As I can only speak English, I was at first worried that I wouldn't be able to communicate with the project manager as most contractors are Chinese speaking. I was very relieved that I could communicate easily with Askae. I had many questions about various materials and he was very patient and clear in explaining them to me.  Better still, he was able to help me communicate to Chinese-speaking suppliers. But the best thing about working with Askae is that nothing was too difficult or inconvenient. Even though we kept adding to the list of jobs to be done (when the renovations were close to completion), he patiently agreed. I also appreciated the little things he did such as hanging the curtains in our attic or waiting in the house for deliveries even though he didn't have to.

I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who would like to renovate their home.

We purchased an old property with the naïve intent of building a new house and went down the traditional path of selecting architects, builders, designers etc and soon realized it wasn't going to be anywhere as easy or rewarding as originally hoped. By good fortune we came across your company and from the first meeting we had we realized quickly that your approach was not like the others we had dealt with nor was it going to be complex or painful. In fact, it became one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things we have done and we are extremely proud of our new home.

From design to build you and the team were engaging at every stage, even when I changed my mind on many things. Being the typically anxious owner I would drop past the site every day and the whole crew always welcomed us they exhibited a true passion for doing their best and wanting to please us.

Somehow, intuition then told us that ‘this is the one’, no need to hunt further.  Even though costs to us was the biggest consideration, we felt we would not go wrong engaging Nic & Wes, having seen its past portfolios and your sincerity and assurances in helping us build our dream home within our means / budget.  You had been very accommodating and obliging, even when it comes to payments.
